Summer Booty 2022 posting on Summer Solstice

Summer Booty The Summer Mashup Album 2022 is almost 2 discs full, with just over two weeks to go.

The tunes are amazing. So far, there’s tracks by DJ Giac, DRA’man, Rudec, Mumdy, Chocomang, MasDaMind, DJ J-Brew, Joan Caramba, DJ MXR, oki, DJ Spider, Mashete, Instamatic, DJ Petrushka & me. Plenty more expected. Project releases on the Summer Solstice.

I took a count of accepted mixes last night, & got 29 tracks.
Then Petrushka told me I forgot the 3 tracks from AtoZ.
So that brings us to THIRTY TWO!!

If everybody gets their tracks done, I expect over 50 (!)

The tunes in so far, are all stunning.
Remember, previously released track are eligible this year for the first time.

I think the deadline is 1 week before summer , thus the 13 of June

Hey Rr, you're not too late. Our computer totally broke and it should be ready today, so haven't been able to do anything since last Tuesday. Just letting you know.

okay, 13 new tracks accepted in just one day.
Daw-gun, voicedude, Chocomang, AtoZ, & a few more expected.

As per the last few years, the project swelled to 3 full 'discs'.
All tracks are brutally reviewed so you will be stunned by the quality.

rillen rudi's amazingly fine track arrived & was gladly accepted.

At this time there's almost no slots left, but still some expected.

I'm thinking it looks like 3 "discs" of 15 tracks.

Been listening again as I master, & holy sneck the tunes rule!!!

Did a last minute check & found 2 tracks I'd missed. Doh!
A track from DJNoNo & another one from somebody. I forgot already...lol

Ok, Deadline of June 15th is fast approaching. I won't be able to take submitted tracks after that. Sorry.

I'm sure we're all in agreement with that sentiment.

Also, I got 3 tracks from Audiopusher, & one from DJ John Smith.

We're so close to being done with an incredible 3 "disc" comp.

I'm off to whip up covers for the tracks without one.

Music & covers are done. Now, I must put the tunes into a proper order.
No worries about releasing on the Summer Solstice, June 22nd.

Now, I'm trying to arrange an airing on some radio show.
I contacted several large fm stations here in the states.
Only one replied, & they said they aren't allowed by management to play
bootleg tracks. (!)
I regard this as part of the current business model of not wanting to earn money.
