Hey there, Mashing individuals and overall gang...

Having recently found 6 prime Elton albums of isolated 5.1 vocals, plus loads of related materials ( not counting the unexpected instrumental YOU'll astound us all with ) I'm apparently helming the "Mashmen Across The Waters" compilation ( in functioning conjunctioning w DJ Konrad Useo & AudioBoots )

    Having already gotten 2 enthusiastic requests for all the files in just the first hours, I figure I'll start this here. If Useo or Choco want to advise me on a better way or place to run this, please do so !

    "Goodbye Yellow Mash Load" - roster of tracks at work and at play !
    Can we get some treatment on every track ? Alternate interpretations are not forbidden !
    And, of course, a "Yellow Brick' sequence is one disc of the comp. The other being wide-open to Sir Elton's full spectrum.

    Thanks, but that really allowed me to do very little.
    if you saw the original ( which I still see when attempting to edit ) you'd be amazed at how different it is !
    I've just never found the layout & the mechanics of the place here very intuitive or understandable.

    Sorry it took me 9 darn days to see your reply !!

    It looked, at first, like you added a screen-shot that ran-off on the right, but in quoting it I found it editable ! ( How'd you get it all to cooperate and control the lay-out anyway ? . . . actual answer not required ).
    (( Damn . . I post it and it still rearranges my intended lay-out . . grrr ))

    Useo was gonna move this to announcements & pin it or somethin' . . so it can be referred to if this takes off. Let folks see what's been "claimed", and what "Yellow Brick" tracks are still open . . but he's had an incredibly rough-week w/ wifey Pat's heart-episode and that's maybe just 1,000 times more important than a silly comp.

    There's no idea yet anyway for a timeframe or deadline. We're seeing if it catches enough interest at this point.
    The folder links are good till mid-September & 2 more folks downloaded `em just today !
    so . . "Bitter Fingers" crossed . . .

    I'm interested in this project, & have sent 4 tracks. Working on 1 more, currently. As there's no deadline currently, we can all have a lot of fun using Sir Elton.
