  • Beatles sounds a little too sharp for my ears on this mix.

You know, I heard that elsewhere, also. I checked & lowering the vocals isn't working at all. I must check into this further. Many thanks for the tip.

    Ok, I checked it again, ( 3rd time ).
It's obvious that if I lower the vocal pitching at all,
the pleasure part of the experience degrades in proportion to the adjustment.
The lower the pitching, the worse it sounds.

I had this done for a couple months before releasing, & ran it past several skilled ears.
We all like it this way.

Perhaps the vocals singing in a harmonic manner is not preferable to you, & you'd rather hear the 'pella & 'mental both in the same base key.

I sure was surprised to hear this pitching didn't please you. I'll try harder.

  • I really like this track. I usually don't care that much for any Beatles mashes, but I really like this one. I don't hear the pitch problem either, and boy, did we work on this one. Useo sometimes runs tracks by me, and this one was a hum-dinger. Thanks, Useo. Me like-a.
